The acquisition brings Altamira’s ~600 engineering and cleared workforce and advanced capabilities in signals intelligence, AI/ML analytics, missile warning and space mission support into Parsons’ Defense & Intelligence business to expand the company’s SIGINT, cyber and space offerings for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers.

The deal — expected to close in August 2024 — will integrate BlackSignal into Parsons' Defense & Intelligence business unit and expand Parsons' electronic warfare, cyber, and AI/ML-enabled signal processing capabilities for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers.
