GlacierPoint Enterprises, a portfolio company of Mill Point Capital, has acquired Marina Ice Cream Corp., a direct store delivery (DSD) distributor of ice cream and frozen products in the New York Metro area. The deal adds Marina's product portfolio and customer relationships to the GlacierPoint platform, expanding its New York footprint and DSD capabilities as an add-on to the existing platform.

MidOcean Partners Acquires Louisiana Fish Fry

MidOcean Partners, a New York-based middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Louisiana Fish Fry, a Baton Rouge-based manufacturer of Louisiana-inspired seasonings, coatings, sauces and bases. The seller was an affiliate of Peak Rock Capital; MidOcean said it will pursue organic growth and strategic M&A to expand distribution, product development and market reach. Financial terms were not disclosed.

GlacierPoint Enterprises Acquires Southern Ice Cream and Gourmet Foods

GlacierPoint Enterprises, a Mill Point Capital portfolio company, has acquired Southern Ice Cream and Gourmet Foods, a Charlotte-based full-service distributor of ice cream and related products across the Carolinas. The deal creates a newly formed GlacierPoint Carolinas division led by Bailey Jordan, expands GlacierPoint's DSD distribution footprint from South Carolina north to the U.S./Canadian border, and retains Southern's owners Kim and Chance DelCastillo in senior advisory roles.

Durational Capital Management Acquires Casper

Durational Capital Management, LP completed an all-cash acquisition of Casper Sleep Inc., with Casper stockholders receiving $6.90 per share and Casper common stock being delisted from the NYSE. Casper will operate as a privately held company headquartered in New York City; KKR provided financing in support of the transaction.

Lakeview Capital Acquires The Mochi Ice Cream Company from Century Park Capital Partners

Century Park had owned the company since 2015 and scaled distribution from under 1,000 to more than 20,000 locations; the transaction represents a sponsor exit and positions the brand for continued national growth under new ownership.

Unilever Acquires Yasso Holdings, Inc.

Unilever has agreed to acquire Yasso Holdings, Inc., a U.S. premium frozen Greek yogurt brand, to bolster the premiumisation of its Ice Cream Business Group in North America. The acquisition, announced from Unilever's Englewood Cliffs office, will add Yasso's better‑for‑you frozen dessert portfolio (sold in grocery and club stores nationwide) to Unilever's ice cream brands and is expected to close in Q3 2023 subject to approvals.
