Streamland Media Acquires Ingenuity Studios

Streamland Media has acquired Ingenuity Studios, adding the award-winning visual effects studio (with offices in Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver and Atlanta) to its global post-production platform. The deal was supported by private equity backers Trive Capital and Five Crowns Capital and expands Streamland's VFX and post-production capabilities for feature film, episodic television, music video and advertising clients.

Telestream, a Genstar Capital portfolio company, has acquired Encoding.com, an Emmy-winning cloud media processing and transcoding platform used by major media, streaming and corporate video customers. The acquisition will integrate Encoding.com's cloud-native encoding technology and team into Telestream to accelerate cloud VOD workflows and expand Telestream's file-based and cloud media processing capabilities; terms were not disclosed.
