Electrical Services Acquisitions in Colorado

MFG Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, has made an investment in Regency Electric, a Denver/Englewood-area commercial electrical contractor founded in 1986. Regency's leadership (Dave and Ryan Seifried) retain significant equity and will continue to manage the business as MFG supports scaling the company's capabilities and growth across the Denver Metro and Front Range.

Rackmount Solutions, a portfolio company of Baymark Partners, acquired Challenge Technology, Inc., a Colorado-based provider of power quality products, consulting and maintenance services. The add-on transaction closed on August 31, 2022 and expands Rackmount/Baymark's capabilities and regional presence in the Rocky Mountain market.

CUSITech LLC, through its CUSI Electric division, has acquired Colorado Springs-based electrical contractor Systems Electric, adding 37 employees and expanding CUSI's commercial electrical, EV charging, medical lab and UPS installation capabilities. The deal is CUSI's fourth acquisition in under a year and strengthens the company's vertically integrated service offering and national footprint.

L&D Electric, an Aurora, Colorado-based electrical contractor founded in 2007, has been acquired by Series 1 Acquisitions, LLC. SDR Ventures served as exclusive sell-side advisor; the company specializes in commercial and residential wiring and works with custom home builders, multi-family apartment complexes, and large commercial developers in the greater Denver market.

Bravas LLC, a national luxury smart-home integrator based in Overland Park, Kansas, has acquired Residential Systems, Inc., a Denver-based home-technology firm. The business will operate as Bravas Colorado, expanding Bravas' footprint in the Rocky Mountain region as an add-on to its platform.
