Electrical Services Acquisitions in New Jersey

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Systems Design Group (SDG), a Flemington, New Jersey-based provider of fire detection, security alarms, access control and 24/7 monitoring services. The purchase expands Pye-Barker’s coverage and capabilities in the tri-state region, allowing the combined company to better serve commercial and industrial customers in New Jersey and surrounding areas.

RESA Power, a portfolio company of Investcorp, has acquired High Energy Electrical Testing, Inc. (HEET), a NETA-accredited electrical testing and commissioning firm based in Farmingdale, New Jersey. The acquisition expands RESA Power's footprint in the Mid-Atlantic — bringing HEET into RESA's network as its 28th location and broadening the firm's service offering in the region.

Sciens Building Solutions, a San Francisco-based building-systems platform backed by The Carlyle Group, has acquired Absolute Protective Systems, a Piscataway, New Jersey fire protection and security systems integrator. The transaction is an add-on to Sciens' North American platform to expand its capabilities and presence in the Northeast U.S., with Absolute partnering closely with Sciens' Philadelphia-area division, Electronic Security Solutions.

Quality Uptime Services (QUS), a Bethel, Connecticut–based critical power service provider, has acquired Weissco Power of Califon, New Jersey. The deal expands QUS's nationwide footprint and service capabilities in UPS and battery preventive maintenance and emergency power services.

GenNx360 Capital Partners' portfolio company GenServe has acquired Atlantic Switch and Generator (ASG) of Pennsauken, New Jersey. The add-on expands GenServe's repair, maintenance, sales and rental capabilities in southern New Jersey and supports further expansion into nearby states such as Delaware and Maryland.
