Engineering Services Acquisitions in New Hampshire

Salas O’Brien has merged with RFS Engineering, a New England-based MEP/structural/civil engineering firm, integrating RFS’s 100+ professionals and offices in Boston, Laconia (NH), and Portland (ME) into Salas O’Brien’s national platform. The combination broadens Salas O’Brien’s MEP/FP, structural, civil, sustainability, and commissioning capabilities across New England; AEC Advisors acted as exclusive financial advisor to RFS.

SAM Companies, a leading North American provider of geospatial and inspection solutions, has acquired Doucet Survey, a New England-based land surveying and geomatics firm. The acquisition expands SAM's presence in the Northeast U.S. and brings advanced capabilities in high-definition laser scanning and UAV/geomatics to SAM's service offering.

E Tech Group, a portfolio company of Falfurrias Capital Partners, has acquired E-Volve Systems, a provider of industrial automation, controls engineering and computer systems validation. The add-on expands E Tech Group's capabilities and presence in the life sciences, food & beverage, and consumer products markets; terms were not disclosed.

E-Technologies Group, a portfolio company of Falfurrias Capital Partners, has acquired Superior Controls Inc., a Seabrook, New Hampshire-based systems integrator serving the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. The add-on expands ETech's national automation and engineering capabilities and geographic reach, adding Superior's ~135 engineers and life-sciences regulatory expertise to ETech's platform.

Spanish engineering and multi-technology services group Dominion acquired New Hampshire-based Commonwealth Dynamics, Inc. for approximately $6.0 million. The deal expands Dominion's specialist engineering capabilities and strengthens its presence in the United States and other industrial markets where Commonwealth operates (including Mexico, Peru and India).
