Government & Public Sector Acquisitions in North Carolina

HdL Companies acquired key assets from North Carolina–based DataMax Corporation, a firm specializing in revenue identification and recovery for local governments. DataMax will operate as an affiliate of HdL, expanding HdL's software and tech-enabled services to serve more municipalities across the United States.

CivicPlus has agreed to acquire Optimere, the combined business behind ArchiveSocial, Monsido, and NextRequest, to integrate digital compliance, accessibility, and records-management capabilities into its Civic Experience Platform. Insight Partners will support the transaction with additional equity and certain Optimere shareholders (including Level Equity) will become investors in CivicPlus; Optimere serves over 6,000 customers and had crossed roughly $30M ARR prior to the deal.
