Healthcare Services Acquisitions in Delaware

HealthCentral has acquired Medfluencers, a physician-founded influencer relationship management platform, to add AI-powered influencer relationship management capabilities to its health experience platform. Adam Goodcoff, D.O., CEO of Medfluencers, will join HealthCentral as Chief Medical Officer; financial terms were not disclosed.

Cohere Health has acquired ZignaAI and launched a new Payment Integrity Suite centered on Cohere Validate, integrating pre-service authorization data with post-service claims and coding validation. The acquisition brings ZignaAI's AI-driven payment integrity and coding automation capabilities into Cohere's clinical intelligence platform to improve claims accuracy, reduce waste, and accelerate payment processes for health plans.

Vision Innovation Partners (VIP), a Gryphon Investors-backed Mid-Atlantic ophthalmology platform, has acquired Eye Care of Delaware, an ophthalmology and optometry practice based in Newark, Delaware. The add-on — VIP's 26th since 2017 — expands VIP's clinical footprint and surgical capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic region.

DocGo, a New York–based provider of technology-enabled mobile health services, has acquired PTI Health, a mid-Atlantic mobile phlebotomy and specimen collection company. The acquisition adds mobile lab collection and phlebotomy capabilities to DocGo’s service offering, accelerates PTI Health’s market expansion (initially into New York City), and brings PTI Health President Wayne Meadows into DocGo as a General Manager.

Med-Metrix, a technology-enabled revenue cycle management platform backed by A&M Capital Partners, has acquired Hospital Billing & Collection Service, Ltd (HBCS). The add-on strengthens Med-Metrix's end-to-end RCM capabilities by adding HBCS' patient financial engagement, self-pay and insurance reimbursement solutions; financial terms were not disclosed.

Myonex has completed the acquisition of SaveWay Compounding Pharmacy, a Newark, Delaware-based compounding pharmacy, to expand its direct-to-patient and home healthcare capabilities for clinical trials across the United States. The purchase enhances Myonex's clinical trial supply offerings—adding compounding, drug sourcing and dispensing capabilities to support decentralized and hybrid trials nationwide.

Tendo, a healthcare software company, is acquiring MDsave, a shoppable healthcare marketplace, to integrate MDsave’s marketplace and bundled-pricing capabilities into Tendo’s patient and clinician engagement platform. The deal, announced September 27, 2023, is expected to close in October and aims to simplify access, scheduling, payment, and care management for patients while helping providers and self-insured employers with price transparency and patient acquisition.

The Dermatology Specialists, a physician-founded dermatology group based in New York City, has acquired Delaware Valley Dermatology, expanding the group's footprint into Delaware. Dr. Michael Saruk will join as Regional Medical Director as part of the integration to expand accessible medical and cosmetic dermatology services in the Delaware Valley.

LHC Group, a national provider of in-home healthcare, acquired Delaware-based Summit Home Care from its ownership team (including co-owner Eric Reinhold). The small, multi-location home health agency provides skilled nursing and therapy services across Delaware and the deal expands LHC Group’s presence in the region; financial terms were not disclosed.

ENT & Allergy of Delaware, a Parallel ENT & Allergy–supported practice backed by Trinity Hunt Partners, has acquired Wilmington Otolaryngology, adding a fourth location to its regional platform. The deal brings Wilmington physicians Lauren Bogdan, MD and Jay Luft, MD into the ENT & Allergy of Delaware/Parallel platform and expands the group's ENT, allergy and audiology service footprint in the mid-Atlantic.

CCRM Fertility has acquired RADfertility, a three-location fertility practice in Delaware. The deal expands CCRM's North American network and will keep RADfertility's lead physicians in clinical leadership roles.

ScanSTAT Technologies, a health information management company based in Alpharetta, Georgia, has acquired Star-Med, LLC, a Wilmington, Delaware-based release of information (ROI) service provider. The deal expands ScanSTAT's release-of-information footprint and adds ROI expertise and local presence in a new geographic market to support its healthcare clients across the United States.

U.S. Foot & Ankle Specialists (USFAS), a Rockville, Maryland-based podiatric practice platform backed by NMS Capital, acquired Delaware Foot and Ankle Group, which operates three offices across Delaware. The deal expands USFAS's Mid-Atlantic footprint and brings Delaware Foot and Ankle Group access to USFAS's administrative, revenue cycle, IT and clinical compliance resources.

Trinity Hunt Partners has launched Parallel ENT & Allergy Partners, a physician-centric management services organization (MSO) for ENT and allergy practices, and completed a strategic partnership with ENT & Allergy of Delaware (ENTAD) in March 2022. Parallel, backed by Trinity Hunt and led by CEO Glenn Noble, will provide scalable non-clinical support to ENTAD (15 physicians, 12 audiologists and over 140 support staff) and other partner practices as it grows.

The Option Group, a certified life care management firm based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, has acquired AgeWise Solutions of Bear, Delaware. The acquisition expands The Option Group's service footprint into Delaware and will keep AgeWise's team providing life care management and caregiver support in the Wilmington area.
