Acquisitions in Salzburg, Austria

Mölnlycke Health Care has completed the acquisition of P.G.F. Industry Solutions GmbH, the Austrian manufacturer of Granudacyn wound cleansing and moistening solutions. The deal brings manufacturing capabilities in Elixhausen, Austria into Mölnlycke’s wound-care portfolio and is intended to expand the Granudacyn business and further develop Mölnlycke’s wound care offering worldwide.

ASSA ABLOY has signed an agreement to acquire SKIDATA, a leading provider of access management solutions headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, from the Kudelski Group. The acquisition, expected to close in Q3 2024 subject to regulatory approval, will integrate SKIDATA into ASSA ABLOY's Entrance Systems Division to expand complementary products and capabilities in access solutions.

PAI Partners has agreed to acquire Savory Solutions Group from International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). Savory Solutions Group is a global provider of savoury ingredients and blends (notably the Wiberg and Piasa brands), operating 17 manufacturing facilities and nine innovation sites with over 1,800 employees and ~€470 million turnover; PAI plans to accelerate international expansion in Europe and North America and pursue growth in plant‑based and clean‑label segments.

Brainlab has completed a majority acquisition of medPhoton GmbH, a Salzburg-based developer and manufacturer of robotic intraoperative imaging solutions, including the Loop-X mobile imaging robot. The deal brings medPhoton into the Brainlab Group to accelerate R&D, expand production capabilities in Salzburg, and broaden application areas such as radiotherapy and intraoperative radiation therapy.

ChargePoint Holdings, Inc. completed acquisitions of has·to·be (the provider of the be.ENERGISED cloud e‑mobility platform) and ViriCiti (an eBus and commercial fleet telematics provider) to strengthen its European presence and expand fleet electrification capabilities. The deals add complementary software, telematics and engineering talent and accelerate ChargePoint’s commercial and fleet offerings across Europe and North America.
