Acquisitions in Dominican Republic

Payroc announced it has acquired Agilisa Technologies, an API-centric payment gateway headquartered in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The deal is intended to strengthen Payroc’s payment gateway capabilities and expand its presence across Latin America and the Caribbean by integrating Agilisa’s single-API gateway platform into Payroc’s existing API framework.

TotalEnergies has closed the acquisition of a 50% stake in the solar, wind and battery energy storage systems (BESS) portfolio of AES Dominicana Renewables Energy in the Dominican Republic. The transaction expands TotalEnergies’ partnership with AES in the Caribbean from LNG into renewables and storage, following TotalEnergies’ 2024 purchase of a 30% interest in AES solar and battery assets under construction in Puerto Rico.

Creative Foam Corporation acquired AccuMED Holdings Corp, a Dominican Republic-based medical device contract manufacturer specializing in textile-based Class I and II devices. The deal expands Creative Foam’s Medical Division capabilities and customer base, supporting near-shore, low-cost country manufacturing programs.
