Acquisitions in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

TransPerfect acquired Omnimago GmbH, a German film restoration and post-production studio. Omnimago will join TransPerfect Media, expanding TransPerfect’s studio footprint in Germany and strengthening its broader European restoration and post-production capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed, and Omnimago will continue operating from its headquarters in Ingelheim.

Voilàp Group, an Italy-based multinational specializing in smart industrial systems, announced the acquisition of Germany-based Stürtz Group, a leader in automated PVC processing machinery for window and façade production. The deal expands Voilàp’s smart factory and high-end machinery portfolio, with Stürtz continuing as an independent brand and organization and its international subsidiaries included in the transaction.

Seaman Paper Company acquired Julius Glatz GmbH and its subsidiaries PaperTec GmbH and Glatz TransTec GmbH to expand its specialty paper and sustainable packaging capabilities in Germany and Europe. The Glatz brand will be preserved and Julius Glatz GmbH will remain a legally independent entity, with approximately 240 employees joining Seaman Paper. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Meine Radiologie Holding (MRH) acquired MRT-Praxis Bad Kreuznach, a private radiology practice specializing in MRI examinations, effective July 1, 2021. The acquisition expands MRH’s presence in Rhineland-Palatinate and the practice will be organizationally affiliated with MRH’s Radiology Centre in Speyer; transaction terms were not disclosed.

L Catterton completed its previously announced acquisition of global lifestyle footwear brand BIRKENSTOCK, with financial terms undisclosed. The transaction includes partnership involvement from Financière Agache, with representatives from GIC and Financière Agache joining BIRKENSTOCK’s Supervisory Board as the company pursues continued global growth.

BPG Building Partners Group GmbH (a subsidiary of AURELIUS Equity Opportunities) acquired the business operations of GSB Gerüstbau Bobenheim-Roxheim GmbH, a Germany-based scaffolding and scaffolding rental provider. The deal supports BPG Group’s expansion strategy by increasing market coverage in the Rhine-Neckar and Rhine-Main regions, with GSB to be integrated as an independent subsidiary.

Meine Radiologie Holding (MRH) has acquired Radiologisches Zentrum Speyer MVZ GmbH, a radiology and nuclear medicine diagnostics provider with two practices in Speyer, Germany. The acquisition marks MRH’s first entry into Rhineland-Palatinate and establishes a new regional cluster to be expanded through further practice acquisitions.
