Acquisitions in County Dublin, Ireland

LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, has invested in Medray Group, a provider of diagnostic imaging equipment and services, marking an exit for Irish PE investor Erisbeg. The deal (subject to CCPC approval) will see LDC back Medray's management to pursue growth through sales investment, complementary acquisitions and expansion into additional imaging modalities across the UK and Ireland.

McCain Foods has acquired a majority stake in Strong Roots, a Dublin-based plant-based frozen food company founded in 2015. McCain — which previously invested $55 million for a minority stake in 2021 — said it will scale the Strong Roots brand into more regions and develop additional vegetable-forward products.

NEC Corporation agreed to acquire Aspire Technology Unlimited Company, a Dublin-based network solutions and systems integration firm, to strengthen NEC Open Networks' Open RAN and systems-integration capabilities. The acquisition adds expertise in designing and integrating legacy and open networks (2G–5G) and expands NEC’s capacity to serve global operators with end-to-end Open RAN ecosystems.

Totalmobile has acquired Dublin-based GeoPal, a mobile workforce management SaaS provider, to strengthen its field service management offering in infrastructure, utilities and construction. The deal — executed after Bowmark Capital's 2020 investment in Totalmobile to support a buy-and-build strategy — adds specialised mobile working and real-time dashboard capabilities and provides cross-sell opportunities into GeoPal's ~15,000 end users.
