Acquisitions in Wellington, New Zealand

Aviat Networks (Nasdaq: AVNW) has acquired 4RF Limited, a provider of industrial wireless access solutions including narrowband radios and Private LTE/5G routers. The acquisition expands Aviat's product offering into narrowband connectivity and the cellular (LTE/5G) router market and is expected to be accretive to gross margin and adjusted EBITDA in the first year; terms were not disclosed.

ADAMA Ltd. has acquired AgriNova New Zealand Ltd., trading as Grochem, a Wellington-based developer and manufacturer of crop protection products, plant growth regulators and biosolutions. The deal strengthens ADAMA's presence in New Zealand and expands its product capability into biologicals, plant nutrition and PGRs.

Ampersand Capital Partners made a minority growth investment in Magritek, a New Zealand-based maker of benchtop and portable NMR instruments. The investment will support Magritek's product expansion and market growth (including flow chemistry and bioprocess monitoring) while leveraging Ampersand's healthcare-focused private equity expertise.
