Blackford Capital has acquired PACIV, a full-service industrial process automation and systems integrator founded in 1997 with offices in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Cork, Ireland. HCAP Partners participated as a co-investor / financing partner; PACIV's management and founder Jorge Rodriguez will remain involved as shareholders and board members as Blackford positions PACIV as the cornerstone of a new industrial automation platform focused on pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device end markets.

EC Waste serves over 100,000 residential and more than 8,500 commercial and industrial customers, operates multiple landfill sites and transfer stations, employs over 350 people, and hosts a large renewable natural gas project; financial terms were not disclosed.
