Indigenous-owned Flowing River Capital Partners has acquired Marshall Land Systems, a deployable defence-systems manufacturer, in a transaction completed Nov. 21, 2025. The deal transfers ownership from the Marshall Group and positions Flowing River to expand its defence portfolio, accelerate Marshall's global growth, and strengthen Canada’s defence industrial base while advancing Indigenous economic reconciliation.

EQT Private Equity (EQT IX) has agreed to acquire SPT Labtech, a UK-based designer and manufacturer of automated liquid handling, sample preparation and consumables for life science research, from Battery Ventures for GBP 650 million. EQT will support SPT's next phase of growth by accelerating product innovation, scaling its Cryo-EM sample preparation business and expanding into new geographies and end markets; the transaction is expected to close in Q3 2022.

Battery Ventures has acquired Goodfellow, a specialty supplier of high-quality materials used in research and development, prototyping, and specialized manufacturing. The investment is intended to further digitize Goodfellow’s operations and support expansion of its product range and future acquisitions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
