BK Plus, an SME-focused accounting firm, has acquired Atkins Ferrie, an accounting practice based in Cornwall, expanding BK Plus into the South West of the United Kingdom. The deal follows BK Plus’s recent acquisition of Andorran in Gloucestershire and is intended to strengthen its nationwide presence and service offering to SME clients.

Ara Partners made a majority growth equity investment in Wattstor, a provider of automated carbon-reduction and electricity cost-saving energy management technology. Wattstor will use the funding to expand across Europe, launch an Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) financing offering, increase R&D, and grow its team. Existing investor janom partially exited and will retain a minority stake.

In-Situ Inc. has acquired Partech (Electronics) Ltd., a Cornwall, United Kingdom-based manufacturer of drinking water and wastewater measurement equipment. The deal expands In-Situ’s water and wastewater product portfolio and strengthens its service and monitoring capabilities for an international customer base.
