Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) has agreed to invest in Improve International Group, a Swindon-based provider of postgraduate veterinary training, acquiring its stake from RJD Partners and members of the company’s management team. Improve International — which operates in 20 countries, delivers courses in nine languages and has more than 170 employees — will continue to be led by CEO Heber Alves as LLCP supports growth via new course development, geographic expansion and strategic M&A.

Jensten Group has acquired Advance Insurance Agencies, a specialist personal and commercial lines insurance broker based in Wiltshire, for an undisclosed sum. The deal supports Jensten’s buy-and-build strategy and positions Advance as a centre of excellence for specialist personal lines while retaining the Advance brand.

Park Place Technologies completed its largest acquisition to date by acquiring NCE Group Limited, a global provider of third-party data center maintenance and repair. The deal (terms undisclosed) significantly expands Park Place Technologies’ global client portfolio and strengthens its European presence, with plans to integrate operations and add more than 280 employees.
