Legal Services Acquisitions in North Carolina

Repario, a portfolio company of JLL Partners, has acquired Modus eDiscovery, Inc. from Azalea Capital. Modus, headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, provides e-discovery, information governance and data management services to law firms, corporations and government agencies; the Modus leadership team will remain with the business and the deal is positioned to expand Repario’s national presence and service offering.

Michael Best announced a strategic combination with Forrest Firm, adding 23 lawyers and 13 professionals and bringing seven North Carolina offices into the firm. The move significantly expands Michael Best’s presence across North Carolina and complements its Venture Best practice serving startups and high-growth companies.
