Logistics & Distribution Acquisitions in Kansas

RD Last Mile Holdings, LLC (doing business as ADL Final Mile) has acquired Henry Industries, Inc. (d/b/a Henry Freight Solutions), a final-mile and customized logistics provider operating across Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. The deal — ADL Final Mile's fourth acquisition — is backed by equity partners including Red Dog Equity and Tom Pritzker's family interests (advised by The Pritzker Organization) with Monroe Capital providing financing, and is intended to densify ADL Final Mile's Midwest and South-Central U.S. footprint.

Lineage, Inc. (NASDAQ: LINE) acquired the assets of ColdPoint Logistics, a temperature-controlled warehousing and transport provider based in the Kansas City area, for approximately USD 223 million. The deal closed on November 1 and expands Lineage's Midwest footprint and access to the protein corridor and intermodal export capacity via onsite rail at ColdPoint's 621,000-square-foot facility.

PLS Logistics Services, a technology-driven third-party logistics provider based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, has acquired D&L Transport, a freight brokerage headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. D&L will operate as an independent subsidiary with Brian DeFrain remaining president, and PLS expects the transaction to increase its annual revenue run rate to $950 million (with a projected ~$1.2 billion in 2022).

BFG Supply, a portfolio company of Incline Equity Partners, has acquired Gard'N-Wise Distributors, a regional distributor of lawn & garden products and greenhouse equipment. The deal is an add-on acquisition that expands BFG's geographic footprint and distribution capabilities across the Midwest, Southwest and Mountain West regions.

United Road, backed by The Carlyle Group, has acquired Team Drive-Away (and its affiliates Driveaway USA and Fr8 Management) from CID Capital. The add-on expands United Road's capabilities into heavy-haul Class 8 truck transport through TDA's non-asset-based, contractor-driven vehicle logistics platform.
