Retail Acquisitions in Missouri

Sports Endeavors, the parent company of Soccer.com and WorldSoccerShop (and a portfolio company of Seawall Capital), has acquired Soccer Master, a St. Louis–area soccer specialty retailer with six stores and online operations. The acquisition will keep Soccer Master retail locations operating under their name while transitioning Soccer Master’s online businesses to Soccer.com to expand Soccer.com’s fulfillment and Midwest presence.

Win Beauty Solutions, LLC has acquired the assets and distributor salon consultants of Classic Beauty Supply, a Bolivar, Missouri-based salon distributor. The acquisition expands Win Beauty Solutions' salon distribution territory by four states (Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas), connecting its southeastern operations with the Midwest and increasing its distributor footprint.

GrowGeneration Corp. (GrowGen) acquired St. Louis Hydroponic Company, a leading hydroponic retail store in St. Louis, Missouri, and began operating the location under the GrowGeneration name on November 7, 2022. The acquisition expands GrowGen's retail footprint and establishes a presence in Missouri ahead of the state's newly approved adult-use market.

Kansas City-based private equity firm Great Range Capital has partnered with Salon Service Group, the largest independent professional beauty supply distributor in the U.S., to support the company's continued growth. Founder and CEO Gino Barbo will remain a meaningful owner and SSG will remain headquartered in Springfield, Missouri.
