Staffing & HR Acquisitions in South Carolina

JER HR Group LLC has acquired Willis HR LLC, a small HR consulting firm founded in 2014 that serves SMB and nonprofit clients. The acquisition brings Willis HR’s client portal and consulting capabilities into JER HR Group’s HR Services division and is intended to expand JER’s service offerings and HCM technology footprint nationwide.

BDV Solutions, a Greenville-based tech-enabled labor solutions provider, has acquired Argo Visa, a consultative visa-services company founded by former U.S. consular officers. The deal expands BDV's immigration and visa-preparation capabilities, enabling it to offer a broader suite of services to employers and individual visa applicants.

Astara Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in BDV Solutions, a Greenville, South Carolina-based tech-enabled provider of employment-based immigration services, partnering with the company's current owners including Founder and CEO Britt Vergnolle. Graycliff Partners provided unitranche debt and a minority equity investment to support the transaction; terms were not disclosed. The investment is intended to fuel BDV's growth and expand its service capabilities to help U.S. employers address labor shortages.

Hospitality Staffing Solutions (HSS) has acquired FoodStaff, a Charleston-based provider of food and beverage personnel that will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary with its brand retained. The acquisition expands HSS's service capabilities in food & beverage staffing across its national branch network and aims to deepen support for clients in hospitality, education, corporate dining and events.
