Acquisitions in Arizona in 2018

Momentum Telecom acquired CloudNet Group, a Phoenix-based communications provider, to strengthen its cloud voice and unified communications market share and broaden its solution portfolio with offerings such as SD-WAN, contact center and vertical go-to-market capabilities. Terms were not disclosed; Bradley Arant Boult Cummings served as legal counsel to Momentum and LoHi Merchant Bank was CloudNet Group’s exclusive investment banker.

CE Holdco, LLC (the Clubessential platform), a portfolio company backed by Battery Ventures, has acquired Stretch Internet LLC, a Gilbert, Arizona–based collegiate athletics streaming provider. The deal adds streaming capabilities to Clubessential's sports and membership technology platform as Battery builds a comprehensive college-sports division.

Liberty Diversified International (LDI), a Minneapolis-based, family-owned packaging and manufacturing group, acquired Preferred Packaging and Crating, Inc., a Phoenix-based manufacturer of corrugated, wood and foam packaging. Preferred Packaging will operate under its existing brand and join LDI's Packaging South Group, with co-owners Mike and Andi Eagleton remaining with the business to provide continuity.

Andersen Corporation acquired Heritage Windows and Doors, a Gilbert, Arizona-based manufacturer of high-performance aluminum windows and doors serving luxury residential and commercial markets. The acquisition expands Andersen's Architectural Collection, advanced manufacturing capabilities and geographic reach; Heritage was owned by Tashco Industries, Inc. and financial terms were not disclosed.

Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty, Inc. has acquired Xponent Employer Solutions, a Scottsdale-based provider of payroll, employee benefits, insurance services and HR management. The acquisition expands Seeman Holtz’s geographic footprint into Arizona and adds HR/payroll capabilities to its family of companies.
