Varsity Healthcare Partners completed a joint recapitalization and growth capital partnership with Probo Medical, a vertically-integrated reseller of refurbished ultrasound systems and probes. Probo's founder and CEO David Trogden will remain in place as the company partners with VHP to accelerate growth through strategic acquisitions and expanded global procurement and sales capabilities.

Pinnacle Dermatology has acquired Skin, Vein & Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Munster, Indiana. Dr. Ahmad Fathi and his team will join Pinnacle and will continue to practice at the Munster location while Pinnacle adds an additional dermatologist, Dr. Olga Radkevich-Brown, as part of its Midwest/Indiana expansion.

Pinnacle Dermatology, a portfolio company of Chicago Pacific Founders, has acquired Spencer Dermatology Associates, a dermatology practice based in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The providers from Spencer Dermatology — including Dr. Linda Spencer, Dr. Rebecca Bushong and NP-C Kay Nannet — will join Pinnacle; no financial terms were disclosed. The transaction expands Pinnacle's footprint in Central Indiana as part of its Midwest growth strategy.

ULG Companies, a privately owned national industrial staffing firm headquartered in Logansport, Indiana, has acquired Indianapolis-based STAFFWORKS Employment Solutions. Calder Capital served as the exclusive M&A advisor on the sale; the acquisition expands ULG's geographic reach and product scope in the Indiana industrial labor market.

Monroe Engineering Holdings, a ShoreView Industries portfolio company, has acquired Spangle Fasteners, Inc. as an add-on to Monroe’s industrial hardware platform. The deal — which adds Spangle’s fastener supply capabilities and warehouse footprint in Indiana and Texas — increases Monroe’s financial scale by roughly 30% and preserves Spangle’s management team to support cross-selling and geographic expansion.
