Acquisitions in Kentucky in 2018

WellSky, a TPG-backed health and community care technology company, has acquired Consolo Services Group, a Lexington, Kentucky–based provider of cloud-based hospice and palliative care software. The deal adds Consolo’s palliative care, adult day care, and memory care capabilities to WellSky’s hospice portfolio and retains Consolo’s headquarters and management leadership in Lexington.

St. Louis-based EyeCare Partners completed acquisitions of three Kentucky ophthalmology practices — John-Kenyon Eye Centers, Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers, and McPeak Vision Partners — expanding its footprint in Louisville and southern/western Kentucky. The deals bring multiple doctors and locations into EyeCare Partners’ network to broaden patient access to ophthalmology and refractive services across the state.

PennSpring Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm, acquired Professional Systems Software & Technology (PSST), a Louisville-based iPaaS provider serving K‑12 school districts, municipalities and corporate clients. The deal will fund product investment and expansion of PSST's customer footprint while preserving the company's mission and leadership team.

Align Capital Partners (ACP) has acquired International Systems of America, LLC (ISA), a Louisville-based provider of fire and life safety testing, inspection services and parts, from Gen Cap America. Cleary Gull served as exclusive financial advisor to ISA; ACP said it will pursue organic growth and acquisitions to expand ISA’s national footprint and service capabilities.

RESA Power, a portfolio company of Blue Sea Capital, has acquired NPM Services, Inc., a Cave City, Kentucky-based electrical testing, maintenance and repair services provider. The acquisition adds a RESA service center in Kentucky to expand the company's reach into the Midwestern and Southern U.S. and enhances RESA’s testing and maintenance capabilities for power distribution equipment.
