Acquisitions in New Mexico in 2020

Redwire has acquired LoadPath, a New Mexico–based developer of payload adapters, deployable structures, and thermal products for launch vehicles and satellites; terms were not disclosed. The LoadPath founders will join Redwire as the deal expands Redwire’s space infrastructure and payload accommodation capabilities; the acquisition is an add-on to the PE‑backed Redwire platform formed with support from AE Industrial Partners.

Consumer51 has acquired Santa Fe-based web design and development firm Desert Elements Design, consolidating local marketing capabilities and expanding the buyer's presence in New Mexico. Desert Elements' founder, Molly Duncan, will remain involved as a member of Consumer51's advisory board as the combined group expands integrated marketing, web development and hosting services in the state.

Meridian Adhesives Group has acquired E-Chem, a New Mexico-based designer and manufacturer of epoxy polymer products for concrete. E-Chem will join Meridian’s Infrastructure Division to expand Meridian’s presence in the infrastructure and concrete rehabilitation markets and leverage Meridian’s distributor network and resources to accelerate product development and market penetration.

Hub International Limited acquired the assets of Linton & Associates LLC, an Albuquerque-based full-service insurance agency. Terry Linton and the agency's staff will join Hub Southwest; terms were not disclosed.

Sohonet, a portfolio company of FPE Capital, has acquired Exchange (Exchange Communications), a US-based IT and telecom provider to the film, episodic and advertising production industry. The bolt-on expands Sohonet’s on-set production services and enables Sohonet to roll Exchange’s production connectivity and remote-production communications into new geographies including Canada and the UK.
