Telecommunications Acquisitions in New Mexico

Commnet Broadband, a regional broadband operator and subsidiary of ATN International, has acquired Sacred Wind Enterprises, a privately owned rural telecommunications provider in New Mexico. The acquisition expands Commnet's fiber and broadband footprint across rural and tribal communities in the Southwest, increasing its wholesale carrier, residential and business broadband services.

QualTek, a turnkey infrastructure services provider, has acquired Broken Arrow Communications, Inc. (BACOM), a wireless infrastructure services company headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands QualTek's geographic footprint in the Western U.S.; BACOM serves customers across 11 Western states and employs more than 200 people.
