Transportation Acquisitions in Arizona

Republic Airways Holdings Inc. has completed its merger with Mesa Air Group, creating a combined publicly traded regional airline that will operate the world’s largest Embraer jet fleet and support major carriers under existing and new capacity purchase agreements. Republic stockholders will own approximately 88% of the combined company while Mesa stockholders will own between 6% and 12% pending final settlement of pre-closing obligations.

Montway Auto Transport has acquired TurnTime Transport, an automotive transport brokerage founded in 2019 and based in Phoenix, Arizona. The acquisition strengthens Montway's dealer- and auction-focused transportation capabilities and expands its service reach for dealer and remarketing customers nationwide.

PrePass Safety Alliance has acquired CVO Holding Company, LLC from funds managed by Astatine Investment Partners. The deal brings CVO's weigh-station bypass, electronic toll payment and safety-analytics capabilities into PrePass to strengthen service delivery for commercial carriers and government transportation partners across North America.

Big Brand Tire & Service acquired 11 service-center locations from MPG Tire and Auto Service in the Tucson, Arizona market. The acquisition expands Big Brand’s Arizona footprint to 35 locations and will see Big Brand integrate its technology and systems across the acquired stores to enhance customer service and operations.

Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) has acquired Great West Truck Center in Kingman, Arizona, adding a strategic location at the intersection of I-40 and I-93 to VVG's Southwest network. The Kingman location will continue offering commercial tires and heavy towing while VVG integrates the site and employees into its dealer and service operations.

All Traffic Data Services (an operating company backed by Seaport Capital) has acquired Traffic Research & Analysis, Inc. and Intellisite Traffic Systems, LLC, two Phoenix-based traffic data collection and analysis firms. The deal expands ATD’s Southwest footprint, adds Intellisite’s retail intelligence capabilities, and brings TRA’s founders into advisory roles to support regional and capability expansion.
