Republic Airways Holdings Inc. has completed its merger with Mesa Air Group, creating a combined publicly traded regional airline that will operate the world’s largest Embraer jet fleet and support major carriers under existing and new capacity purchase agreements. Republic stockholders will own approximately 88% of the combined company while Mesa stockholders will own between 6% and 12% pending final settlement of pre-closing obligations.
