Robinson Helicopter Company has acquired Ascent AeroSystems, a Wilmington, Massachusetts-based maker of coaxial uncrewed aerial systems (UAS). The deal brings Ascent's all-weather, modular drone platforms and payload ecosystem into Robinson's manufacturing footprint in Torrance, California to support expanded capability offerings for law enforcement, public safety, industrial and defense customers.
