Spirit AeroSystems (NYSE: SPR) acquired the assets of Applied Aerodynamics, a composite MRO provider based in Farmers Branch, Texas. The acquisition expands Spirit’s aftermarket and composite repair capabilities, adding a 120,000-square-foot facility and workforce to improve turnaround times and broaden repair scope for commercial and defense customers.

Oshkosh Corporation Acquires AeroTech Business from JBT Corporation for $800 million

Oshkosh Corporation agreed to acquire the AeroTech business from JBT Corporation in an $800 million all-cash transaction (approximately $720 million net of expected tax benefits). The acquisition expands Oshkosh into the air transportation support market, adds recurring aftermarket revenue and technology capabilities (electrification, autonomy, connectivity), and is expected to be accretive to earnings and deliver synergies of roughly $20 million run-rate by year three.

Enjet Aero Acquires Spartan Aerospace

Enjet Aero, headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, has acquired Spartan Aerospace of Manchester, Connecticut, adding a 70,000 sq. ft. facility and 80+ employees to expand production capabilities and its greater Hartford presence. The acquisition enhances Enjet's capabilities in machined aeroengine components, sheet metal fabrication, and assemblies to better serve commercial and defense aerospace OEMs and MRO customers.

Tex-Tech Industries Acquires Fiber Materials Inc. from Spirit AeroSystems for $165M

Spirit AeroSystems has sold its Fiber Materials Inc. (FMI) business to Tex‑Tech Industries, Inc. for $165 million in cash. FMI — a supplier of high‑temperature carbon/carbon and ceramic matrix composites with facilities in Biddeford, Maine and Woonsocket, Rhode Island and roughly 400 employees — supplies materials for defense and NASA programs; Tex‑Tech said the acquisition expands its thermally protective materials capabilities for aerospace, defense and space markets.

Montrose Environmental Group Acquires Spirit Environmental

Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. has acquired Spirit Environmental, LLC, a Houston-based air permitting and environmental consulting firm, to expand its air consulting and permitting capabilities across the U.S. Mountain and Gulf states. Spirit's senior leadership, including founder and CEO Brad Herrin, will join Montrose's Consulting and Engineering division; terms were not disclosed.

Sval Energi Acquires Spirit Energy Norway

The deal transfers 45 licences (6 operated), including seven producing fields (two operated), and expands Sval Energi's producing asset base and development/exploration opportunities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
