Boeing Acquires Spirit AeroSystems

Boeing has agreed to acquire Spirit AeroSystems in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $4.7 billion in equity (about $8.3 billion total including net debt), reintegrating Spirit's Boeing-related commercial operations and select aftermarket businesses. The deal brings roughly 15,000 Spirit teammates into Boeing, expands Boeing's production and MRO footprint, and preserves certain defense activities as an independent Spirit Defense subsidiary while requiring divestiture of some Airbus-related work packages.

Architect Equity Acquires AAR's Aerospace Composites Division (renamed Aeromatrix Composites)

Tex-Tech Industries Acquires Fiber Materials Inc. from Spirit AeroSystems for $165M

Spirit AeroSystems has sold its Fiber Materials Inc. (FMI) business to Tex‑Tech Industries, Inc. for $165 million in cash. FMI — a supplier of high‑temperature carbon/carbon and ceramic matrix composites with facilities in Biddeford, Maine and Woonsocket, Rhode Island and roughly 400 employees — supplies materials for defense and NASA programs; Tex‑Tech said the acquisition expands its thermally protective materials capabilities for aerospace, defense and space markets.

TRS Services Acquires American Aeromotive Components

Houston-based TRS Services has acquired the assets of American Aeromotive Components (AAC), expanding TRS's manufacturing and replacement-parts capabilities for light industrial and aeroderivative gas turbines. The acquisition adds CNC grinding and machining capacity and broadens TRS's repair capabilities for heavy industrial buckets and blades, strengthening the company's technical expertise and service offering to turbine operators and OEMs.

Aero Accessories Acquires Aero Instruments & Avionics
