Barracuda Networks has acquired Evo Security, an identity and access management (IAM) provider built specifically for managed service providers (MSPs). The deal aims to embed Evo Security’s IAM and privileged access management capabilities into Barracuda’s BarracudaONE platform to create a unified, end-to-end identity resilience stack for MSPs.
Barracuda Networks has acquired SKOUT Cybersecurity, a Melville, New York-based provider of an XDR platform and 24x7 SOC services optimized for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The deal, announced in July 2021 and completed July 13, 2021, expands Barracuda's MSP-focused security portfolio by adding SKOUT's XDR technology and managed detection-and-response capabilities; terms were not disclosed.
Barracuda Networks acquired Fyde, a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) provider based in Palo Alto, California (with an office in Porto, Portugal), to add ZTNA capabilities to its CloudGen SASE platform. The Fyde solution was rebranded/rolled into Barracuda CloudGen Access and made available immediately to businesses and soon to Managed Service Providers; financial terms were not disclosed.
