Honeywell has acquired the Li‑ion Tamer business from Nexceris, a tuck‑in that will integrate Li‑ion Tamer's off‑gas/early‑warning battery detection technology into Honeywell's Building Automation and fire life safety portfolio. The product suite (with 30+ global patents) is expected to be immediately accretive and to strengthen Honeywell's offerings for high‑growth end markets such as grid energy storage and data centers.
Honeywell has entered into an amended agreement to acquire Johnson Matthey's Catalyst Technologies business segment for £1.325 billion in an all-cash transaction. The deal is intended to expand Honeywell’s catalyst and process technologies installed base, strengthen renewable fuels capabilities, and create synergies across Honeywell’s process technologies and process automation aftermarket offerings.
Honeywell has agreed to acquire SCADAfence, an Israel-based provider of operational-technology (OT) and IoT cybersecurity solutions, to expand its Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity+ suite. The deal will integrate SCADAfence's asset-discovery, threat-detection and governance capabilities into Honeywell's OT cybersecurity offerings and is expected to close in the second half of 2023, subject to customary approvals.

Honeywell has agreed to acquire Sparta Systems from New Mountain Capital for $1.3 billion in an all-cash transaction. Sparta Systems is a provider of enterprise quality management software (QMS) and a next-generation SaaS platform for the life sciences industry; Honeywell will integrate Sparta into Honeywell Forge to expand its life sciences and software capabilities.
