Survey Solutions, an RJD Partners-backed UK engineering and topographical surveyor headquartered in Ipswich, has acquired Survey Systems (Manchester) and Kempston Surveys (Bedfordshire) to expand its geographic coverage and service offering. The deals add over 48 employees (over 40 from Survey Systems and eight from Kempston), increase Survey Solutions' headcount to around 160 and bring the business to nine offices nationwide.
RJD-backed Babington has agreed terms to acquire the majority of the apprenticeship business from PeoplePlus (part of Staffline Group). The deal brings around 100 employees and nearly 2,000 learners into Babington, expanding its apprenticeship programmes and customer base across England and Scotland.
RJD Partners has taken a majority stake in Improve International Limited, backing a management buyout led by CEO Heber Alves with founder David Babington also participating. Improve is a global provider of postgraduate and continuing professional education for the veterinary sector; RJD will support digital capability development and international growth (organically and via acquisitions).
RJD Partners has invested in a management buyout and equity release of Land Survey Solutions (Holdings) Limited (trading as Survey Solutions), taking a significant stake and partnering with founder James Cooper and the management team. The investment positions Survey Solutions — a UK land, measured building and underground surveying business headquartered in Ipswich — as a platform for continued organic growth and acquisitive expansion across housing, commercial and infrastructure markets.
RJD-backed Class Tours, trading as Voyager School Travel, has acquired UK group educational travel specialist COGO Travel. The add-on expands Voyager's portfolio of tours and school client base — including COGO's Disney partnership and primary school residential programmes — supporting Voyager's centre-led education offerings.
