Seven2, a Pan‑European mid‑market private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in French AI software and consulting firm ILLUIN Technology, with CEO and co‑founder Robert Vesoul retaining a significant stake. The investment—made via Apax Development Fund II—will support ILLUIN’s product and R&D scaling, commercial expansion and European growth.
Seven2 has completed the majority stake acquisition of Munich-based HRK LUNIS from J.C. Flowers & Co. and concurrently closed a merger between HRK LUNIS and Grossbötzl, Schmitz & Partner. The double closing increases HRK LUNIS's assets under management to approximately €7.5 billion and its headcount to about 120 employees; the deal marks Seven2's first investment in Germany as it seeks to expand across the DACH region and pursue further organic and inorganic growth.
Seven2 has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Olifan Group, a French independent wealth management firm, investing via its Apax Development Fund II (ADF II). The transaction, which facilitates the exit of minority investor BlackFin Capital Partners and involves management reinvestment, will support Olifan's organic growth and an accelerated external growth (buy-and-build) strategy to consolidate the French wealth management market.
Paris-based private equity firm Seven2 has acquired Fulgard, an Italian leader in workplace safety and occupational health services, from Argos Wityu. The deal positions Fulgard to accelerate organic growth and pursue market consolidation in Italy through expanded service offerings and M&A under Seven2's ownership.
Seven2 (formerly Apax Partners) has completed a majority recapitalization of Lumion, a Sassenheim-based provider of real-time 3D rendering software for the AEC industry. The founders and management team (led by CEO Thomas Sønderby) are significant reinvestors; Lumion has transitioned to a subscription model and reached roughly €20m ARR as Seven2 positions the company for product innovation, sales professionalization and targeted external growth.
Infraneo, with the support of majority shareholder Seven2, has acquired Technipipe, a France-based specialist in pipeline and industrial unit monitoring, inspection and maintenance. The add-on expands Infraneo's asset integrity capabilities in the Energy sector and strengthens its presence in the PACA region and across France and Europe.
Seven2 (formerly Apax Partners) has acquired a majority stake in Infraneo from Sparring Capital to support the group's European expansion and digital transformation. Simultaneously, Infraneo acquired Antémys, a Rhône‑Alpes geotechnical specialist (≈40 employees), strengthening Infraneo's territorial coverage; the group now has over 500 employees and a pro forma 2022 revenue of €56 million.
