Building Products Acquisitions in Iowa

Building Products Inc. (BPI), a Watertown, South Dakota–based building materials distributor, has acquired Heartland Millwork, a custom millwork manufacturer in Larchwood, Iowa. The acquisition expands BPI’s custom millwork manufacturing capabilities and production capacity, enabling broader product offerings, operational efficiencies, and an expanded reach in its Midwest markets.

Golden Gate Capital has made a growth investment in Brava Roof Tile to support the company's production capacity expansion and broader growth initiatives. Brava's management, led by CEO Adam Brantman and CMO Andrew Ahrens, will continue to lead the company and remain significant shareholders; financial terms were not disclosed.

WF Cabinetry Group, a semi‑custom cabinetry manufacturer backed by HCI Equity Partners, has acquired Woodharbor Molding & Millworks, a family‑founded custom cabinetry and vanities manufacturer based in Mason City, Iowa. Patriot Capital provided subordinated debt and an equity co‑investment to support the add‑on acquisition; Woodharbor founder Curtis Lewerke will remain a shareholder and board member of the expanded WF Cabinetry platform.

Copperfield Chimney Supply, a subsidiary of Olympia Chimney Supply Holdings, LLC, has acquired New Energy Distributing, Inc., a Midwest distributor of hearth and chimney products. The deal is intended to expand Copperfield’s product offering and service footprint across the Midwest; terms were not disclosed.

Core & Main Inc. (NYSE: CNM) has completed the acquisition of substantially all assets of Midwest Pipe Supply Inc., a Clear Lake, Iowa-based distributor of drainage, septic and waterworks products. The deal expands Core & Main's drainage and waterworks presence in Iowa while bringing Mark and Wendy Paca and their team into Core & Main's network.

Dura Supreme, a premium kitchen and bath cabinetry maker owned by GHK Capital Partners, has acquired Bertch Cabinet Mfg. The acquisition combines complementary premium cabinetry brands to expand product selection for dealers and accelerate growth across the U.S.; the deal is an add-on to the Dura Supreme platform owned by GHK.
