Building Products Acquisitions in West Virginia

Guild Garage Group has completed a partnership (add-on acquisition) with Varney Door Company, a family-owned residential garage door service provider headquartered in Barboursville, West Virginia. The deal is Guild's 25th acquisition since launching in 2024 and will allow Varney Door to retain management while accessing Guild's operational resources and partial liquidity options for the owners.

All Surfaces, a leading U.S. flooring distributor based in Bloomington, Minnesota, has acquired Abraham Linc, a family-owned Mid-Atlantic flooring wholesaler headquartered in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The acquisition expands All Surfaces' geographic footprint across 11 new states and increases its combined network to 48 locations covering 28 states, enhancing distribution capabilities and product selection.

Fernweh Group LLC has acquired Wincore Window Company, LLC, a Parkersburg, West Virginia-based manufacturer of vinyl windows, impact windows, fiberglass entry doors, and sliding patio doors. The transaction establishes Wincore as Fernweh's new platform in the Building Products sector as the firm looks to capitalize on improving housing and construction demand while retaining Wincore's senior management.

JENNMAR, a FalconPoint Partners portfolio company, acquired the assets of the Holden, West Virginia cement blending facility of Wright-Mix Material Solutions, LLC. The facility will be added to JENNCHEM's manufacturing footprint to secure supply and expand production of J-SEAL and other blended cement products for mining and construction customers.

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, has acquired the assets of Lowe Products Company, including a Shepherdstown, West Virginia facility, to strengthen its lawn & garden capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic and improve service to the Washington, D.C. market. The assets—bulk and bagged mulches, soils and compost—are being integrated into Oldcastle APG’s outdoor living product portfolio to expand geographic coverage and product capability across North America.

Groundworks, the Cortec-backed national foundation and water management platform, has acquired Basement Systems of West Virginia, which will operate as Basement Authority of West Virginia. The add-on expands Groundworks' footprint into West Virginia and strengthens its residential and commercial foundation repair and waterproofing capabilities; terms were not disclosed.
