Construction Acquisitions in Idaho

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety acquired Treasure Valley Fire Protection, a Boise-based fire sprinkler design, installation and service provider. The deal expands Pye-Barker’s fire sprinkler capabilities and marks its first offering of sprinkler services in Idaho, enabling enhanced service to commercial customers in the Boise region.

Hagadone Marine Group has acquired the assets of Murphy Marine Construction Inc. on Lake Coeur d’Alene, adding 145 wet slips adjacent to Blackwell Island Marina and expanding Hagadone’s total slips to 1,611. The deal brings Murphy family personnel into Hagadone roles and enhances Hagadone’s marine service and dock-construction capabilities for regional growth and improved internal project completion.

Revive Infrastructure Group, in partnership with Sileo Capital and Brightwood Capital, acquired Crown Utilities, a Nampa, Idaho-based utility contractor focused on telecommunications infrastructure. The deal expands Revive's capabilities and geographic footprint in the Intermountain West; Crown will retain its brand and Ken Killingbeck will continue as president.

DPIS Builder Services, a Houston-based provider of builder services owned by Saw Mill Capital, acquired Building Energy, a Star, Idaho-based HERS rating and building energy certification company. The add-on expands DPIS's footprint and capabilities in the Northwest (Boise, Coeur d'Alene, Spokane) and brings Building Energy's team into DPIS to support ENERGY STAR and other efficiency programs.

Sunroc Corporation, a subsidiary of Clyde Companies, completed an asset acquisition of Boise-based Hi-Grade Underground, Inc., expanding Sunroc's utilities capabilities in the Treasure Valley and across Idaho. Hi-Grade's former owner Dave Clifford will remain involved and transition into a Utilities Manager role with Sunroc following the acquisition.

Sunroc Corporation, a subsidiary of Clyde Companies, has completed an asset acquisition of Depatco, Inc., an Idaho Falls-based civil construction and aggregates company. The transaction expands Sunroc’s geographic footprint and product offerings in Eastern Idaho while Depatco’s Stoddard family owners will remain involved in the business.

Alpine 4 Technologies, Ltd. (ALPP) has acquired Excel Fabrication, LLC, a Twin Falls, Idaho-based metal fabrication and construction services company. The acquisition expands Alpine 4's Construction Services portfolio and adds fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair capabilities serving industrial and food & beverage customers across the western United States.

An investor group led by Lad Dawson, Mike Bowers and Innovatus Capital Partners formed Guerdon, LLC and acquired substantially all assets of Guerdon Enterprises, LLC. Innovatus will provide working capital and equity alongside the founders to support growth of the modular manufacturer, which will continue to operate from Boise, Idaho and focus on hospitality, multifamily, student and affordable housing markets across the Western US and Canada.
