True Environmental, a Halle Capital‑backed environmental services platform led by Jim Stamatis, has acquired Sundance Consulting, Inc., a Pocatello, Idaho‑based environmental consulting firm of more than 70 professionals. The partnership (formed March 5, 2024) brings Sundance into True’s platform to accelerate growth, expand service capabilities in federal and commercial environmental markets, and facilitate an ownership transition for Sundance’s founder and employee‑owners.
WebMD Health Corp., an Internet Brands company, acquired the operating assets of Healthwise — including content, products, technology, client relationships and certain trademarks — and will fold most of Healthwise's team into WebMD Ignite. DFW Capital Partners completed an investment in Harris CPAs, a Meridian, Idaho-based regional accounting firm that provides audit & assurance, tax, and advisory services. The investment includes the placement of DFW Operating Partner Michael J. O'Donnell as CEO and is intended to accelerate Harris's organic growth and support a strategy of partnering with other CPA firms and investing in technology and talent.
West Edge Partners formed the INTACT Property Restoration platform and acquired regional restoration companies Flood Response (Thousand Palms, CA) and Valley Maintenance and Restoration (Hailey, ID). Alterra Mountain Company has completed its acquisition of Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho, expanding Alterra’s portfolio of year-round mountain destinations to 17 properties. Schweitzer’s existing CEO Tom Chasse will remain in place, and the MKM Trust/Capital will retain non-ski real estate and development holdings while Alterra assumes resort operations.

Funds advised by Basalt Infrastructure Partners have closed the acquisition of Fatbeam Holdings, LLC from a fund managed by SDC Capital Partners and other investors. Fatbeam is a fiber broadband provider operating ~1,250 route miles across the western United States; Basalt said it will partner with management to continue the company’s growth and expand connectivity to education, commercial, carrier, and government customers.
Clearview Capital Fund IV completed a recapitalization of Inventive, LLC (closed May 5, 2023), partnering with its Vertikal Brands team to support growth of the domestic manufacturing business. Inventive founder Chuck Ceccarelli retained a significant equity stake; Clearview said it will leverage Inventive's engineering and lean manufacturing capabilities to expand product development and market reach in towing, fishing, ATV/UTV and garage end markets.
Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Sevana Bioenergy and will make a $250 million capital commitment to accelerate development of renewable natural gas (RNG) projects across North America. Sevana, an owner-operator of large-scale anaerobic digestion projects, has deployed over $350 million of projects under construction and operates digester facilities across agricultural regions including Oregon, Idaho and South Dakota.
Highlander Partners, through its defense-focused division High Point Aerotechnologies, acquired Black Sage Technologies from Acorn Growth Companies. Black Sage, a Boise-based developer and integrator of Counter-UAS hardware and its DefenseOS C2 software, will complement Highlander’s growing C-UAS platform and expand capabilities for military, internal security, and critical infrastructure customers.
FleetPride, the nation's largest distributor of truck and trailer parts and services, has acquired the assets of Berggren Diesel, a family-owned heavy-duty truck service operator with locations in Idaho Falls and Terreton, Idaho. The deal expands FleetPride's service footprint in Idaho and western Wyoming and brings Berggren's technicians and support staff into FleetPride's national parts and service network.
