Pearl Meyer has acquired Ampersand Leadership Group, a boutique leadership advisory consultancy, and hired several senior practitioners to expand its Leadership Advisory practice. The move strengthens Pearl Meyer's capabilities serving private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and corporate boards by adding Ampersand's leadership advisory, executive assessment, and coaching expertise.

Total Resource Management (TRM), an enterprise asset management and digital transformation advisory firm based in Alexandria, Virginia, has acquired Performance Consulting Associates (PCA), a reliability and maintenance management consultancy founded in 1976. The acquisition expands TRM’s reliability, maintenance management, and EAM consulting capabilities and integrates PCA’s team and services into TRM’s broader advisory and implementation offerings.

Funds managed by TorQuest Partners purchased GlassRatner (B. Riley’s advisory services business) from B. Riley Financial for $117.8 million. B. Riley expects to record a gain of approximately $66 million on the sale; TorQuest plans to invest in GlassRatner as a platform to support growth and expand its advisory capabilities.

Harbor, a global provider of expert services to the legal industry, has acquired CLIENTSFirst Consulting, a U.S.-based marketing technology and data quality management services firm. The deal expands Harbor's marketing technology, CRM, and data-quality capabilities to accelerate business development solutions for law firms; CLIENTSFirst founder Chris Fritsch joins Harbor as Vice President of Marketing Technologies.

Mauldin & Jenkins, a long-established Atlanta-based certified public accounting firm, has acquired The Prinzo Group, Inc., a consulting firm that serves state and local government agencies. The deal closed January 2, 2025, and the seller and its employees will remain with the combined organization to support an expanded public-sector consulting capability.

FTI Consulting has acquired Madison Consulting Group, an actuarial consulting firm with 25 billable professionals and offices in Madison, Georgia and Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The acquisition expands FTI's property and casualty actuarial and compliance capabilities within its Global Insurance Services practice; terms were not disclosed.

Diversified Search Group, a leading woman-founded executive search firm, acquired Yardstick Management, a Black-owned Atlanta-based management consulting and executive search firm known for DEI and data-driven solutions. The deal adds Yardstick's organizational strategy, DEI consulting, and executive search capabilities to Diversified Search Group's global platform to scale services and expand its diversity-focused offerings.

The Riverside Company, through its portfolio company OutSolve LLC, has acquired First Advantage Consulting Firm, LLC as the first add-on to OutSolve since Riverside’s October 2022 acquisition of the platform. The deal expands OutSolve’s affirmative action and OFCCP compliance capabilities, adding scale in AAP services and enabling broader offerings in pay equity, DE&I and ESG.

Accordion, a private equity-focused financial and technology consulting firm, acquired ABACI, an ERP and EPM consultancy specializing in NetSuite and Adaptive Planning. The acquisition adds 36 professionals, expands Accordion's CFO Technology practice and establishes a formal Atlanta office to enhance ERP/EPM and finance-technology capabilities for PE-backed CFOs and portfolio companies.

Renovus Capital Partners has made a growth capital investment in Thought Logic Consulting to support the firm's investments in its team and capabilities, accelerate planned geographic expansion, and pursue industry partnerships and acquisitions. Thought Logic, a business and technology transformation consultancy with offices in Atlanta, GA and Richmond, VA, will leverage Renovus' experience in scaling founder-led services businesses.
