GeneDx Acquires Fabric Genomics

GeneDx (Nasdaq: WGS) has completed its acquisition of Fabric Genomics, an Oakland-based developer of AI-powered genomic interpretation software. Fabric will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of GeneDx, enabling integrated centralized and decentralized genomic testing, accelerating NICU genomic testing and newborn screening programs, and unlocking recurring software-based revenue streams.
