Sterlite Technologies (STL) Acquires Clearcomm Group Ltd

Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) has agreed to acquire 100% of UK-based network integrator Clearcomm Group Ltd in a two-tranche deal (80% up front, remaining 20% in 2023) based on an enterprise value of £15.5 million for the initial tranche. The acquisition (Clearcomm reported ~£20m revenue and strong recent growth) expands STL's network integration capabilities and strengthens its presence across the UK and Europe, complementing STL's optical connectivity and data-centre interconnect offerings.

The deal strengthens Stellant's RF amplification portfolio — adding Gallium Nitride solid-state power capabilities and complementary customers and workforce — while Comtech will use the proceeds to reduce debt and de-lever its balance sheet.
