Communication Technology Services (CTS), a U.S. provider of in-building and campus wireless solutions, has acquired ClearSky Technologies of Orlando, Florida to expand its managed services portfolio. The deal adds ClearSky's private LTE/5G managed services (including its Forte product for DAS integration) and positions CTS to offer managed private LTE and 5G services to enterprise customers nationwide.

UST Acquires MobileComm to Expand Telecom Engineering Capabilities

UST has acquired MobileComm, a Dallas-based telecom engineering firm with over 1,300 employees, to strengthen its telecommunications practice and accelerate offerings in 5G, private cellular and Open RAN. The acquisition merges UST's cloud and devsecops capabilities with MobileComm's wireless engineering expertise to deliver enhanced solutions for Communications Service Providers and enterprise private network customers.

Focus Group (Bowmark-backed) Acquires STL, Incom and Contact Assist

Bowmark-backed Focus Group has acquired three UK businesses — STL Communications, Incom (Incom-CNS Group) and Contact Assist — as part of its ongoing roll-up strategy since Bowmark’s 2020 investment. The deals expand Focus Group’s geographic coverage across the M4 corridor, the Midlands, Manchester and Wales and broaden its capabilities in unified communications, business IT and clinical systems integration.

Iridium Communications Acquires Satelles

Iridium Communications has agreed to acquire Satelles, a provider of satellite-based Satellite Time and Location (STL) services that harden and complement GNSS timing and location systems. Iridium will pay about $115 million for the remaining ~80% of Satelles (it already owned ~20%), will fold STL into a new Iridium business line led by Satelles CEO Dr. Michael O'Connor, and expects the capability to drive significant service revenue growth.

USTC Corp Acquires Multicom

Stellant Systems Acquires Comtech's Power Systems Technology (PST) Product Line

Stellant Systems, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, agreed to acquire Comtech Telecommunications' Power Systems Technology (PST) product line for a total cash purchase price of $40 million (including up to $5 million contingent consideration). The deal strengthens Stellant's RF amplification portfolio — adding Gallium Nitride solid-state power capabilities and complementary customers and workforce — while Comtech will use the proceeds to reduce debt and de-lever its balance sheet.
