Bruker Acquires Dynamic Biosensors GmbH

Bruker Corporation has acquired Dynamic Biosensors GmbH, a Munich-based developer of single-cell interaction cytometry and biosensor instruments, to strengthen Bruker’s biosensors portfolio. The deal combines Dynamic Biosensors’ heliXcyto and heliX+ technologies with Bruker’s high-throughput SPR systems to expand capabilities and product offerings for drug discovery and biopharma research; financial terms were not disclosed.

Clinical Reference Laboratory Acquires Confirm BioSciences

Clinical Reference Laboratory (CRL), a large privately held clinical testing laboratory, has acquired Confirm BioSciences, a San Diego–based provider of screening tools and consumer-facing testing products. The acquisition will have Confirm operate as a subsidiary and is intended to expand CRL's lab testing and R&D capabilities while leveraging Confirm's large retail/customer base and COVID-19 testing pipeline.

R-Biopharm AG Acquires AusDiagnostics

German biotechnology company R-Biopharm AG has acquired Australian molecular diagnostics manufacturer AusDiagnostics. The purchase adds AusDiagnostics' multiplex MT-PCR platforms, extraction reagents and laboratory automation capabilities to R-Biopharm's clinical diagnostics portfolio, supporting capability expansion and internationalization into new clinical, veterinary and applied testing markets.

Calibre Scientific Acquires Dianova GmbH

Calibre Scientific announced the acquisition of Dianova GmbH, a Hamburg-based manufacturer and distributor of antibodies, immunoassays and molecular biology products. Dianova will be integrated into BIOZOL Diagnostica GmbH (a Calibre Scientific subsidiary) to expand product offerings and strengthen distribution across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Eurobio Scientific Acquires GenDx (Genome Diagnostics B.V.)

Paris-based Eurobio Scientific has acquired all outstanding shares of Dutch transplant diagnostics specialist GenDx (Genome Diagnostics B.V.), following a share purchase agreement signed on August 17. The acquisition expands Eurobio's molecular diagnostics portfolio in transplantation and secures the company legacy with proceeds funding a GenDx foundation established by the founders.

The IMA Group Acquires Diagnostics Research Group

The IMA Group (IMA) acquired Diagnostics Research Group (DXRG), a San Antonio-based clinical research site, expanding IMA's Clinical Research Division into South Texas and adding DXRG's multi-specialty trial capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed and DXRG will continue operating under its current name with existing leadership and staff retained.
