The deal combines iNRCORE and Gowanda to create a global magnetics platform, expanding product capabilities across communications, aerospace & defense, medical devices and other high-reliability end markets.

RFMW Acquires MRC Gigacomp and MRC Components (Germany)

Genuine Cable Group (GCG), a value-added wire and cable and connectivity solutions provider, has acquired ACD – Advanced Controls & Distribution, a regional provider of industrial automation, controls, and robotics solutions serving western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and eastern Ohio. The acquisition expands GCG’s industrial automation capabilities and sales coverage, complementing its existing automation businesses (including Empire and C&E Advanced Technologies).

Power Grid Components Acquires Royal Switchgear Manufacturing

Power Grid Components, a platform formed by Shorehill Capital and industry veteran Rick McClure, completed the acquisition of Royal Switchgear Manufacturing Company, Inc. in December 2019. The deal expands Power Grid's product offering into high-voltage switchgear and power connectors; Joe Carton became President of Royal and joined Power Grid's board. Financing was provided by Antares Capital, Maranon Capital and Fidus Investment Corporation.

Electrical Components International Acquires Manufacturing Resource Group (MRG)

Electrical Components International (ECI), a Cerberus-backed global supplier of electrical distribution systems, has acquired Manufacturing Resource Group Inc. (MRG), a Norwood, Massachusetts-based electro-mechanical and cable assembly manufacturer. The deal adds specialized cable, wire-harness and box-build capabilities to ECI's platform and expands its presence in automation, defense and medical end markets while keeping MRG's management and facilities in place.

Distribution Solutions Group Acquires Tech-Component Resources and ConRes Test Equipment

Distribution Solutions Group, Inc. (DSG) announced it closed two previously announced acquisitions: Tech-Component Resources (acquired into DSG’s Gexpro Services segment) on October 30, 2024, and ConRes Test Equipment (acquired into DSG’s TestEquity segment) on November 18, 2024. Both deals were funded with existing cash and availability under DSG’s credit agreement and expand DSG’s distribution and test-equipment capabilities across manufacturing and electronics end markets.
