Nordic Capital Acquires Sortera from Summa Equity

Nordic Capital has agreed to acquire Swedish environmental services provider Sortera from Summa Equity, with Lightrock selling its stake and Sortera founder Conny Ryk's Ryk Group reinvesting and remaining an investor. Sortera, headquartered in Stockholm with just over 420 employees and pro forma 2020 revenues of SEK 1.4 billion, has expanded across the Nordics through organic growth and ten add-on acquisitions under Summa Equity's ownership.

Renta Group Oy has acquired Espoon Nosturikeskus Oy (Pohjanväre), Espoon Rakennuskonevuokraamo Oy and the operative assets of Lohjan Nosturipalvelu Oy. The acquisition expands Renta's presence in the Helsinki capital region and southern Finland, adding 3 depots, more than 10 employees and approximately EUR 5 million in annual revenue to Renta's rental platform.

Posti Acquires Aditro Logistics from Valedo Partners

Posti Group Oyj has acquired Aditro Logistics Holding AB, a leading third-party logistics provider in Sweden and Norway, from Valedo Partners Fund II AB, management and the board. Financial terms were not disclosed; Aditro grew under Valedo to over SEK 1 billion in revenue and operates ~230,000 sqm of logistics space across multiple centers.

H.I.G. Infrastructure Acquires Controlling Stake in Fluo Group Oy

Capital’s infrastructure platform has acquired a controlling interest in Fluo Group Oy, a Finnish circular-economy waste management and recycling platform headquartered in Kokkola. H.I.G. will partner with Fluo’s management to accelerate service and geographic expansion across Finland, invest in sustainable waste infrastructure, and pursue buy-and-build add-on opportunities.

Stora Enso Acquires Finnish Sawmill Company Junnikkala Oy

Stora Enso has completed the acquisition of Finnish sawmill company Junnikkala Oy for a total enterprise value of up to EUR 137 million, with part of the consideration contingent on production milestones. The Junnikkala sawmills — including a new mill in Oulu — will be integrated with Stora Enso’s packaging board site in Oulu to secure a cost-efficient wood supply, increase sawmilling capacity and generate estimated synergies of approximately EUR 15 million annually.

Triton Forms Lohkare Infra Platform with Acquisition and Merger of Three Finnish Regional Contractors

Triton Smaller Mid Cap Fund II (advised by Triton) has created Lohkare Infra by acquiring and merging three regional Finnish infrastructure services companies — VM Suomalainen Oy, Lännen Alituspalvelu Oy, and Oteran Oy — into a decentralised national platform. The new group operates across Finland, employs ~200 people, generates nearly EUR 200 million in annual turnover with ~EUR 25 million EBIT, and will pursue buy-and-build consolidation of the fragmented Finnish infrastructure services market.
