Granite Creek and Equivu Acquire Majority Stake in C&C Manufacturing

Chicago-based Granite Creek Capital Partners partnered with Equivu Capital (the investment arm of Salvatore Calvino) to acquire a majority stake in C&C Manufacturing (formerly Al-jon Manufacturing). Equivu's Salvatore Calvino was named CEO and the investment will provide working capital to grow the company's workforce, expand parts and services, and capitalize on demand across scrap recycling, waste management, and airport maintenance markets.

As part of the transaction Robert Dahl was named CEO and Granite Creek partners joined NYP's board; sellers included long-time owner-operators Christopher and Jerry LaBelle. Granite Creek said it will support product diversification, expansion, and continued growth at the company.

Founder Ken Ridenour will step back and retain a minority stake, while CEO Ben Tarr and the management team will continue to run the business with strategic support from Granite Creek and Operating Partner Mike Ray to scale product development, expand facilities, and pursue international growth.
