Granite Creek Capital Partners, alongside Canterbury Ventures (the investment arm of the Farrell family), acquired Diamond Blade Warehouse, a Vernon Hills, Illinois–based distributor of diamond cutting tool consumables. As part of the transaction W. James Farrell was appointed chairman and James M. Farrell named CEO; Granite Creek invested from its FlexCap II fund to support DBW's growth and geographic expansion.

Granite Creek said it will support product diversification, expansion, and continued growth at the company.
