The Halifax Group completed a recapitalization of TriMech, a Richmond, Virginia–based provider of CAD and engineering design solutions, 3D printing systems, and related training, consulting, and staffing services. Halifax partnered with founder Steve Pelham and TriMech’s management team; prior owner McCarthy Capital exited its portfolio position. Terms were not disclosed.

The deal expands TriMech's global engineering design platform, adds SSG’s ~23 UK/Ireland offices and 250+ employees, and is supported by follow-on equity from Sentinel; Solid Solutions’ CEO Alan Sampson will become President of TriMech’s UK & European business.
