ATC Drivetrain Acquires Global Battery Solutions

ATC Drivetrain, a global independent remanufacturer based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, has acquired Mack GmbH, a remanufacturing company based in Waldenburg, Germany. The acquisition expands ATC's footprint into continental Europe and strengthens its sustainable remanufacturing capabilities for powertrain and drivetrain components across ICE, hybrid and electric vehicle technologies.

Farmington Hills-based ATC Drivetrain has acquired H.L. Smith Transmissions Ltd (HLS), a UK-based remanufacturer of heavy-duty commercial vehicle transmissions and steering systems. The deal adds HLS’s 85,000 sq. ft. remanufacturing facility and expands ATC’s geographic reach, capabilities and access to commercial vehicle and military end markets in Europe; the seller Russell Smith will retire following the transaction.

HG Automation Acquires Treva Automation

TREMEC Acquires Electric GT to Expand ICE-to-BEV Conversion Capabilities

TREMEC, a subsidiary of Grupo KUO, acquired Electric GT, a provider of plug-and-play EV conversion systems, and will operate the business as TREMEC – Electric GT out of Electric GT's Huntington Beach, California headquarters. The deal broadens TREMEC's aftermarket and specialty-vehicle product portfolio by adding complete EV powertrain systems (batteries, motors, inverters, gearboxes and control systems) for ICE-to-BEV conversions.
