Biomerics acquired Dependable Plastics and launched a new Interventional Medical Plastics (IMP) Division to expand its plastic component capabilities for the interventional and robotic-assisted surgery markets. The acquisition adds thermoforming, liquid cast resin molding and additive manufacturing capabilities and establishes operations in Fairfield, California alongside Biomerics' Salt Lake City operations.
